Lastly, would it be worth it to buy another MB, & if so, what about a MSI MPG B550 GAMING PLUS or MSI B550-A PRO ? Clear CMOS (shorting the 2 pins, then removing the battery for about 30min, reinserting), + removing power didn't work either.Īny suggestions on another trick ? Changing the cable of connection to screen: DP → HDMI, from the GPU & MB didn't change anything None worked, but worse, NOTHING worked/booted from that point, which I'm still stuck on ReFlash the BIOS 1st, the version I already was on, then, newer version, then older versions.

Update drivers of the GPU, then clean Uninstall→Reinstall at least didn't break anything, but didn't fix the issues MemTest86 to check Memory BSOD, BUT never could launch the soft, had a black screen after booting on it from the BIOS Boot menu Once I've tried updating/reFlashing the BIOS, it couldn't boot, & the CPU Led turned ON. Don't know why, nor since when, but the BIOS was simply unaccessible! I could boot anything including Windows, Repair CD, Linux, but just not access the BIOS. After MemTest86 didn't boot properly, I wanted to check in the BIOS my settings, notably BIOS/UEFI & FastBoot. When using some softwares (Video editing, gaming) pushing the components to the max, I could have issues, such as the BSOD (Handbrake, Firefox with lots of tabs) (even though again, it was not consistant at all, happened rarely), perf drops or constant freezes (games, DMC, while it was fine before) Handbrakes stops encoding before the end, "error". I had some BSOD from time to time, MEMORY MANAGEMENT & 2 others (don't remember, but could be Memory related), but always sporadically/rarely, & sometimes randomly (allegedly) 1st off, my PC worked fine (has for almost 1 year) before the following happened, so I know it's not incorrect initial montage or faulty/DOA) RAM : 2×16GB 3000Ghz Ballistix PSU : Gigabyte 750W Gold SSD : WesternDigital SN750 NVMe PCIExpress3.0 1TB MB : MSI B450 Tomahawk Max CPU : Ryzen 3700X GPU : SAPPHIRE NITRO RADEON RX 5700 XT Hi, I've got an issue with my B450 Tomahawk Max, & will describe the situation (including what I tried) the best I can, so that you have the opportunity to propose a solution, if you will to.
